At the time of drop-off, you must have state inspection paperwork for your beef. You can call the AZDA dispatch (623) 445-0281 to schedule an appointment. You must also have a completed cut instructions sheet which you can download from the bottom of the beef page. If you need assistance filling one out give us a call and we will assist you with that. If you do not have these at the time of drop-off, your animal(s) will be turned away.
Self-inspection forms can be used for Sheep, Goats, and Swine. You can download your booklet here. All of these animals must also have a cut instruction sheet at the time of drop-off. They are available for download at the bottom of each species page. Any animals that do not have these forms at the time of drop-off will be turned away.
It is always best to call ahead to see if there is availability for your game to be processed. Wild game is first come first serve providing there is room for processing. A valid hunting permit (tag) will need to be present with the carcass you will be dropping off or it will be turned away.
1 cubic foot of freezer space will hold about 25lbs of meat. An average quarter of beef is around 100-125lbs of meat. So for a quarter beef, you will need about 5-6 cubic feet of freezer space.
